Well, this was taken off the first time and I don't know why. Any way I just received new that I will be getting my ssdi and that I just have to wait for it to come in. I have not received my awards letter yet; my lawer just said he found out last week. How long does it usualy take to get back pay and then for the regular payments in?

I'm glad you will be receiving your benefits. I would think if you have been approved you should be getting this information soon. I believe you have to have your checks direct deposited in an account. That is usually every month on the day of your birthday. Hope you get it soon.

Hi CatEyes it may take sometime for all the paperwork to catch up. You can call your local SS office and they should be able to tell you. Also you will get a lump sum check for the back months since you applied. Just remember to keep all records and if you have a copyier copy the lump sum check. They can make a mistake and it won't catch up for years. Good Luck
