Well, the Red Sox unloaded on the Rockies 13-1 in Game one of the World Series. What did you think about it? I personally believe that it's still only one game and that the Rockies still have a shot. Josh Beckett owned them tonight. I think the Rockies pitching staff I think was shaken up a bit due to nerves and long rest. I think tomorrow will be a closer game and a possible Rockies victory. What's your take?

I didn't see the game but only heard about it. I would say that has to do with Boston getting things done right more so than Colorado being rusty. I think it will be a closer game. Part of it you have to say Beckett really did his job and is a very good pitcher. Colorado still has a chance and just have to regroup and hopefully just do better. If they can do that, it'll go the distance. If this series does in a Boston sweep, I'll be surprised to say the least. I wouldn't have expected it to happen.

Beckett did do his job, way better than expected. I'm not taking anything away from that. I believe that the Rockies have better pitching though, but it wasn't there due to rest and nerves. But one thing I will credit Boston for, coming up with 2 out hits with runners on base. They took a page right out of Colorado's game plan and exicuted it perfectly.

aside from the red sox poundin the crap out of the ball, beckett had a lot to do with their 13-1 victory. i figured boston would win easily but i never expected a blowout to this extent. id say after game three if the games keep going this way the rockies wont even have a chance. i hope they keep it close but sox win in 7

I couldn't believe my eyes. 13 runs. It was great. I enjoyed every minute of it.I didn't think the long wait would hurt the Rockies , but I guess it did.now to game two. Will the real Rockies show up? Who knows.
