Our Puppy Peed on My husband!!

We were taking a car ride today checking out all the trees changing. We took the puppy with us. She was good and slept in my lap for the longest time. Then out of no where she goes over and sits on my husbands lap..hes driving. He yells..HEY!! I look and she had peed on his lap!! LOL. I couldnt help laughing. He stoped the car and got out. There was pee everywhere!! All over his lap and the seat. LOL. He wasnt to happy. LOL. Has this ever happened to you??

We have a full grown Mini-pin and him and I were out on a walk one evening and we ran into another dog and it's owner well as the person and I are talking I all of a sudden feel this wetness on my foot and I look down an my dog is peeing on me! I yelled at him in shock and started laughing, later I found out he was marking me as his terratory. Darn dogs anyway thank God we don't pee on everything that belongs to us LOL. Your story reminded me of your dog acting like a sleepy toddler who gets up to pee after a nap LOL the dog probably wasn't even fully awake. LOL. Best of luck. -Amber

LOL. I had that happen. I caught a stray dog one day. While I was calling vets offices to see if anyone knew where he lived he marked me!! He lifted his leg and peed on my leg!! LOL.

OMG i love this story copperkitten . it was a good one and yes it has happen to me. Kujo my 3lb dog peed on ME of all people . while my husband was driving to KS to see our grand kids omg i was so upset but not at Kujo i was pissed at my husband for laughing so hard he had to pull over for a few mins because he could not dive . LOL any way i just changed my cloths and we were on our way . thank god we were on a long trip so i had cloths in the Explore with us. poor Kujo didn't know what was going on it was funny. but it pissed me off that my husband had to laugh so hard . lOl

LOL. Good thing you had extra clothes!! My hunny was pissed because I was laughing and to make it better so were my boys who are 3 and 5. LOL!!!

LOL. She is a Puggle Jug. She is half pug, 1/4 beagle, and 1/4 jack russle. Isnt she just adorable!! I had a lady in the vets office offer me 1000$ for her!! I was stunned! Of course I said no.

We have had a lot of people tell us she looks like a boxer. I think im going to breed her once and sell the pups for 500$ each. From what everyones saying about them I think they would sell like hot cakes..LOL!!

Puggle was going to be my next guess! They look alot like boxers when they are puppies! lol. 1,000 dollars nice! But I would have said no too ;P She's too cute! And apparently has a sense of humor! lol.

He said he could deal with her going on the floor he could clean it up. But in his lap was not cool now he has to sit in it.

That's funny. Of course, it wasn't to your husband, lol. I had a dog, many years ago, that didn't like my husband, and would pee on his pillow. lol My husband hated that dog. He was a chihuahua, poodle mix. He was so loveable, to me at least.

LOL. No he wasnt happy. I guess he didnt like him to well. Thats funny. My hunny would be really mad if she peed on his pillow.

Oh no copperkitten! lol I bet she was trying to let you guys know that she had to go potty but didn't know how to tell ya. Poor thing! Poor hubby! lol Puppies go to the bathroom more often than adult dogs. They go right after they wake up from a nap too. To answer your question, yes I've had it happen to me. When I got my male cocker spaniel neutered and had to return to get his stitches taken out, he didn't want to go inside the vet's office but I had to pick him up and he peed all over me, the floor, the examining table, the assistant and the doctor. They had to turn him over and he was steady going like a water fountain. Makes me wonder what the hell they do to him?? Needless to say, I never went back.

Usually she whines when she has to go but not today!! She gave no warning just went. Poor hunny..LOL.
That dosent sound like your dog had a good experiance. I wouldnt have gone back either.

Her name is Hemi Layla. She is a Puggle Jug...pug, beagle, jack russle mix. She is only 3 months old.

HOw funny! He's never peed on my wile driving but he's barfed on my a few times. My dog gets carsick which is sad because he really likes to travel. He did wet the bed one time. He normally wakes me up if he has to go potty but this one was definitely an accident!

but you got to give her some credit..she was smart enough to NOT pee on the lap she was nice and cozy in for so long!

I know. My husband was like you wont be laughing when she pees on you. I said well she knows better cuz she got up from my lap and peed on yours!!! LOL

LOL Morgana has a little stunt she pulls on Hubby. Her litter box is by his desk and although he never has a problem with odor with it every once in a while she will wait till he gets up to go over and make her stinkie. LOL I tell him she does it b/c she loves him and wants to share LOL

That is funny..I don't recall any of ours peeing on us but one time we brought two puppies home and just as we pulled in the driveway they threw up all over me...

I have to admit that I had a little chuckle when I read this, animals are just like children and you gotta love em! I'm sure your husband was a bit iritated but I'm sure he'll laugh about it down the road! Maybe your puppy was just marking his lap to show ownership, he's probably a bit young for that though.

It's possible that your puppy doesn't like your husband. Or it could be something else. If your puppy is a frequent peer on your husband, I would possible check with a doctor.

LOL. I had that happen with my 3 yr old. He was very good at peeing when he had no diaper on. He even peed on the nurse when he was born. She screamed. LOL I found it amusing.
