Which movie could you watch 100 times?

Which movies do you love enough to watch over and over again? Would you watch your favorite movie 100 times? My daughter loves the Wizard of Oz and watches it every day. I think she's seen it at least 50 times so far. Sometimes she puts the movie on and just goes about her day playing, as the movie is going on in the background. And, other times, she glues herself to the TV and won't budge, until the munchkins have finished their song. This morning I woke up with the Munckin song in my head and couldn't get back to sleep. She also loves "Elf" (Will Ferrel) and Shrek. So, I guess we've seen those about 100 times each. At least she doesn't like Mary Poppins! I don't have one favorite movie that I could watch 100 times, if given a choice. If I did have one movie, it might be Alien: Resurection. That was pretty good. And, I saw Pitch Black six times in one weekend. There are lots more movies that I love, but my tired brain can't think of any, right now. Which ones are your favorites? Which ones could you watch time and again?

I can't get enough of the movie "Somewhere In Time" starring Christopher Reeves. I think I have watched that movie more than 30 times already and I still watch it whenever it's shown on cable tv. I even have a dvd copy. First time I watched it was when I was still in grade school and the last was only a month ago. I kinda hope that someday I could also go back in time to change the bad things or bad decisions I made in my life. And I was truly amazed when I was a kid that someday it could be a possibility that we can go back whenever we want to..

I can remember the first time that I saw that movie when I was a young woman. It was a magical film with many twists and turns. Such amazing romance, too. I had no ideas movies could be that romantic. Thank you for your lovely post! Be well. your friend BeautyQueen

The Bicycle Thief, Bridges of Madison County, Samsara. I would watch most of Clint Eastwood and Robert Deniro. Of course, sound of music, my fair lady. And a lot of Indian movies.

I've seen Unforgiven once and thought about watching it again. It's a western, sort of. I like the earlier stuff Clint did too, anything Dirty Harry. Really gritty. One of my newer favorite movies that Clint has done which impressed me was Bloodwork. It's so anti-Clint. He is all broken down from a heart condition and a former cop and has a wacky neighbor, Jeff Bridges. Jeff is a real pest and super creepy. In the movie, Jeff acts goofy and then gives you the weird eyeball look after you turn away and you know he's hiding something major. I could watch that one everyday. Thanks for taking time to share my favorite topic. Be well. Drop by my discussions anytime and we'll talk some more.

I meant to say Jeff Daniels! He was also on Speed and The Grand Tour. Angellica Houston makes a cameo, too, probably as a favor to Clint. She doesn't have a major role, just his doctor.

The Sound of Music is that movie for me. If I haven't seen it a hundred times yet I bet I'm getting close. I simply love everything about that movie. I saw it recently at an outdoor event on a jumbo size screen... about twice the size of movie theaters and it was awesome.

Hello there. I guess I am a very boring person. There are many movies I can watch 100 times. My list includes cartoons, comedies and sad movies. I especially love cartoons (ie. Disney cartoons) and I will never get bored or tired of it. =D

I rarely watch movies unless it's a comedy. Way back in college, a female classmate of mine treated me to the movie "The Assassin" starring Bridget Fonda. I liked it very much that five years ago i bought a copy of it. I think i've watched it again around 10 times already.

Well, there ARE movies I have watched over and over again. Not that I bought them, but they are always on TV, so I'll watch them every single time they come on TV. My favorites to watch over and over are Signs, Lethal Weapon 4, Last of the Mohicans, and the Matrix. Now it's kind of weird why I like Lethal Weapon 4. I have never seen the previous 3 Lethal Weapon movies. But once I saw the fourth on TV, I loved it. So while I have no intention of ever watching the other three, if it comes on TV, I'll like be watching the fourth every time. : )

I was hoping someone would bring up Last of the Mohicans. That's a phenomenal film. Haven't seen Signs, but I'll watch anything that Joaquin Phoenix is in. I thought he made that Gladiator movie so much better than it would have been otherwise. And I loved 8mm with Joaquin and Nicholas Cage. Very dark and creepy. Once again, Joaquin stole the show. I have seen all three Lethal Weapons, the fourth one is both funny and action packed. Wasn't Chris Rock in that one? He was hilarious. He kept trying to get close to that guy, cause he had secretly married his daughter. Is that how the movie went and that was his father in law, or they were having a baby. I can't remember. It's been years since I saw it. I could watch Matrix at least once a week, it's that good. There are so many layers to that movie. You see something new everytime. I haven't seen part two and three in years. I am planning to do a big movie binge and watch the Matrix Trilogy one of these weekends. I'll post about it and everyone can rent their copies and watch with me. We'll do a virtual cyber movie party. You're invited!

A movie I could watch over and over would definitely be "Forrest Gump". I don't think I could ever get tired of it. Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors and he's awesome in everything he does. I think I could probably watch "The Green Mile" 100 times too. I also love "The Notebook" but it's one of those that I bawl my eyes out and I really have to want to see it again really bad before I can sit through it.

I think I have watched The Last Samurai, Gladiator, and Pulp Fiction that any times. I just never get tired of seeing them. They all seem to connect with me in a very special way. I'm crying here, sorry. They are just beautiful movies, I'm sorry I thought I could do this.

i should have counted... but the movies that I watch over and over again are: - sense and sensibility - howards end - sound of music - marry poppins - white christmas and for some reason: the truman show. beats me why. I find it soothing to watch a movie that I liked again and again. I can do the same with books too. I read them over and over. shrug. and yes... they also suit as background music.

There are so many movies that I love. And many movies that I can watch over and over again. One of these movies is Cruel Intentions. I have seen that movie so many times. I actually haven't watched it in quite some time. But when I watch it I have been known to watch it and then hit play again at the end of it. LOL Another movie I can watch a lot is Mean Girls. Those are 2 of the movies that I can watch time and time again and they never get old for me!

I don't know about 100 times (smile), but I love Nemo, I just don't seem to get tired of that movie. I've also watched Elf over and over again - Will Ferrell is so funny. I'm not sure which others I could watch over and over again...but then again, I'm not so much the movie fanatic.

The nightmare before christmas is a movie I could watch again and again. Tim Burton's films are so classic that they do not get old. There is a good mix of humor, moral lessons (of accepting yourself and your strengths), and adventure. Plus, halloween and christmas are my favorite holidays so I love to see his novel portrayal of them.
