gain friends in friendster.com?

www.friendster.com was created in order people can gain a lot friends. The question is, are you sure that you really know the people you invited or added you in friendster? did u meet them all? Is there a proof that you are friends or its just nothing, what matters most is that you have a number of friends in your friendster

I once signed in to the site mentioned by you. I did not get much positive responses, so I now do not log in to this site.
Cannot say, if it is really good for finding friends.

Currently, I have 426 friends in friendster. As for me, I use friendster not to gain more friends but basically keep in touch with old ones. With the every update, you get to see what's happening in their lives even if you're worlds apart. Because of this site, I have managed to keep in touch with my classmates in 1st grade which seemed impossible in other circumstances.

In my friendster, I just added those acquaintances, friends. I got a lot of friends in friendster, most of them were my orgmmates, dormmates, schoolmates and met in some conventions and seminars.

i just use it for schoolmates and random friends and we dont meet at all...but im starting to make good friends woth foreigners like Malaysia,nice people

Everytime I received new friend request, I try to view the profile of the person before I approve to see whether I know that person or not. Yes you can gain lot of friends and at the same time have contact with your friends or colleagues where you have not seen for a long time.

To be honest, I don't know about half of my friend list on friendster. I guess people just add friends just to be popular, like "oh I have more friends than you" sort of thing.....I'm not ashamed to say that I was that sort of person when I started using friendster, probably just due to the excitement of first using it, but now I log in like once a fortnight.....no more passion for friendster I guess... =P
