What is your favorite final fantasy game?

Final Fantasy 8 has all my favorite characters and storyline. The only thing I didn't like was when you had to play as Laguna and company, and the actual Junction system. I know how important Laguna's story was, and when I realized that Squall was Laguna's son (the first time I played the game which was before having the Internet), I really, really wanted Squall and Laguna to finally meet! I was hoping my suspicions were confirmed, but Laguna just said something like, "After all of this is over, we need to have a chat."
