I like to play Table Tennis for my recreation. However, I also like the following sports: 1.swimming 2.badminton 3.volleyball 4.chess

the same to you.table tennis is my favorite sports,i'd say.and it's is called " Ping Pang ball" in chinese.

I will play basketball, provided with a group of people or friends... Otherwise, I would do swimming...
