Even I like giving short responses to all the discussions I am responding to.. I don't like spending much time on a particular discussion at all...

Most of my responses are more than 5 lines. It really depends on the topic of choice. Some you cannot expand on and others can get you typing for lines at a time. I really want to post longer responses, but I feel that the mid-ranged ones are the ones that get read the most. I don't want to waste my time writing a huge response for people to overlook it, just because they are to lazy to read the whole thing. In the near future I hope to post more but I guess I will see. I haven't used MyLot very seriously since this Saturday. I've been on and off for about a year. I hope to actually do better.

It does sort of depend on the discussion. If I can get away with four or five lines, I will. I try not to answer with one liners, unless that's the length of response I get! Otherwise one can ramble on and on and on and.....Oops, I'm onto my sixth line, lol!

Interesting that we're talking about response length. I usually type in a few lines to share my thoughts. Really depends on the topic, though. The more I know about a certain topic/area, the more I can share my knowledge with everyone. Of course, if I had more time to spend on mylot I'd like to write more lengthy responses and even start a few thought-provoking topics myself.

Nice discussion... I usually write my responses like 3-4 lines, but sometimes you can come across a response like 8 lines long. That is ok if the topic is interesting and I want really good to describe what I am writing.

it depends on your topic. some don't get any responses at all. sometimes the topics are almost similar with one another that your first sentence is a vital.

I have to agree it depends on the topic and what we have to say and how much it takes to say it.

I respond mostly according to what I know of the subject or topic, since I also recall some of the information I know as I type my post!;) Sometimes, I would like to concentrate on what previous posters haven't mentioned yet and try to add it on my own response. But my actual minimum number of lines per post is always around three sentences, if I know nothing more to add then I might as well skip it for a while and return later if ever something has come up to me!;)

It usually depends on the topic. There are some topics that I will respond with short sentences and others I will go into more detail, therefore, longer sentences. In addition, many times other people have responded with a better reply than I could ever give so I will only write a few sentences.

it depends on different situation.if the discussion makes me want to say too much, then I will respond more lines;but if I am not very interested in it,then I will just respond a few lines.lol.

I usually don't write very long responses. I usually write about five lines to two short paragraphs at the most. The reason I don't write more is because I don't like to read really long posts or responses unless it's really interesting. I feel other people don't have time or interest in reading a long response so I try to keep it as short as possible to get my point across. Look I've actually written more than normal.

well there some discusiin which cna never be written in even 4-5 lines.Since peple just aks for ones choice ,not even the reason also.So it really depends on the discussions .however normally discussions are good and worthwhile enough on which one can write atleast 4-5 lines. So i do the same.i generally 4-5 lines for one discusion.i know people donont have time to read big line discusions,so to ease them it small and brief from my side always.

It depends on the subject. If it's something you are passionate about and know lots about then you can end up writing a lot without realising you have. Most "debates " on here don't need more than a few lines. I like to try and stay within 4 or 5 lines but sometimes it is inpossible to stop writing about something :)

It always depend of the subject. Sometimes I will write a lot on a subject and sometimes a little bit less. But I never give one sentence answer. I think that every subject can be at leat answer with 4-5 lines. This is the least I write. Sometimes , I have to admit, I only answer 3 lines lol

I think my responses are usually about four lines or so on average. If the discussion is on something that I'm especially interested in, or if it's something I feel I know a lot about, then I sometimes give a longer and more detailed response, but usually I have a difficult time coming up with something much longer than a few lines. A lot of times, I feel like I'm typing a pretty detailed response, and then after I post it, I realize it's actually pretty short, lol.

To me it all depends on the topic. I try to make them to the point, but if I can answer the question in one sentence, I will try to eleaborate a little. I have heard you were paid based on the length of your response so I try and keep that in mind. I would say anywhere from 4-7 sentences.

I try as much as possible to make my responses short. This is because many people here hate reading long posts and I do not blame them because I hate it also. One paragraph does it for me, though I sometimes wrte two.

It depends on the topic. Sometimes I get carried away and I read my respond which is as long as the article in the newpapers. LOL. I know some will get tired reading my responses but I do not care. I love responding here in mylot because I know I can express my self well. I just which some mylotters will not stop making discussions that I can relate with. Hehehe. God bless!

I usually do 4 or 5 lines too. I don't like long responses, and besides I believe my english is not that good so everybody would die of boredom, he he he Besides, whenever I felt inspired and wrote more than 15 lines or so, my PC boycotted me, or the lights went out, or the internet conection failed... so I guess it's not in my destiny to bore you people with long respones!!!! LOL!!!!
