Will you go to sleep when your hair is still wet?

When I was a child, my grandma told me not to sleep when my hair was still wet. She said I would have a headache after I grew up. So I remember this and I always go to sleep when my hair is dry. If my hair is still wet, I will use the hair dryer to make it dry.

I had never heard that, but I get out of the shower and right into bed. SOmetimes I wake up with a very interesting look too. Now hubby, his hair dries so easy that he towel dries it and it will be dry within 15-20 minutes.

That's because men have shorter hair.

I have short hair also, but his has always been so much thinner than mine. Mine is so thivk that when I had long hair and I would put it up, eight hours later, it would still be wet.

Before I used to sleep when my hair is still wet. I heard a saying that you're not suppose to sleep with your hair wet because you will have a headache and you will grow white hairs. I had this funny incident when I was in grade school. I didn't want to go to school and I told my friend that. She told me to sleep with my hair wet so I would have a headache the next day. I tried doing it unfortunately I thought that her idea was a bad idea so, I dried my hair with a towel and went to school instead. If my hair is still wet, I will use an electric fan or air dry my hair.

I remember when I was a little girl, they used to say that go to sleep with wet hair was not good, so I did not do it... usually was cold at night... but I do sometimes go to bed with wet hair and nothing happened...

My parents also told me that when I was very young. They tell me to let the hair dry before I go to bed,or you will catch a cold and have headache the next day.I believe this and everytime I would not go to bed untill my hair is dry.Meanwhile if you go to bed the hair didn't dry,you will find the hair is so mess that difficult to carding next day.

No one told me that, but I have thick hair and it is usually a little damp when I go to bed. I cannot stay up until midnight. I do towel dry it and sometimes I wrap it in a towel if it is still wet. In winter when it gets dark early, then I can wash my hair around seven pm and it will be dry when I get to bed around ten thirty, but in summer, it does not get dark until around nine and if I do to bed around ten thirty, there seems to be a problem.

No. The way I do my hair, it is dry way before I go to sleep. But my mom would wash her hair and cover it with a towel and she would go to bed. She had short hair and she didn't catch cold or have headaches.

I don't like to go to sleep with it wet because the pillow gets damp and cold. But I will if I am very tired. Also I find I get lots of knots if I sleep with it wet. I used to always go to bed with it wet when I was a kid and hated it.

I don't, but for a different reason. I'm always soooo hot when I get out of the shower, and can't go to bed hot. Thus, I have to wait til I cool off, which by that time my hair's dry. ;)

I have gone to sleep with wet hair many times but I avoid it as much as possible because it gets way too cold and it is unpleasant to sleep with! Your hair also gets stuck a certain way so lots of styling is required the next day!
