would you let your child have gay and lesbian friends?

i dont! since i dont want my kids to be like them,i believe in the saying "tell me who your friends are and i will tell you who you are". and besides gay and lesbians can greatly affect kids thinking and they might be like one of those gays and lesbians when time comes so i have to give them a wall that would protect them from such kind.i am happy with my kids now because i know i have thought them the real truth about gays and lesbians and they dont wanted to be like one ever.

if they are not bad influences, then why not?? i also have gay and lesbian friends and they are fun to be with and they are good influences because they make me feel confident of myself and take out my shyness. i am lucky to have friends like them. my oldest sister though was not lucky at that. he has lesbians friends but they weren't good influences to her. in the end, my mom had to take some measures to convince my sister to stay away from them. if i had kids i wouldn't stop them from having gay and lesbian friends as long as i know that they are good people and they wouldn't influence my kids to do bad things. ^__^

It is okay to have them as friends but not become one of them.

It is ok for me. Because homosexuals are not different from heterosexuals, they are basically humans.

well i dont have any kids as if now.however whenever i will have one,i dont think i will ever have any objection about their gay or lesbian friends.since friends are made by people from their heart,i think i have no right to reject it just because they are gay or lesbian.its personal t0 them.

This is a gender issue and we should tell our child that there gays and lesbians too in this world. Let's be gender sensitive to make way for a better tomorrow. I won't mind if my child have gay friends.

yes i will! :) there's nothing wrong with it... i have a lot of gay and lesbian friends and they are fun to be with.... so i wouldnt stop my son for having a friends like that as long as he knows his limitations...

Hello! I don't have anything against gay and lesbians, I have homosexual friends and my mother have too and we're all nice people. My mother didn't stop me when I introduced them to her and she didn't judge them, so I would follow the same thing. I wouldnt stop my kids to have homosexual friends, but of course as a mother I have to be protective and make sure that they are good influences to my child, aside from that, I won't mind at all. It all depends on if my child was a follower or a leader. in my religion it is a sin,and if i let my daughter asociate with someone with thoes beleifs.feelings whatever u wanna call them,and she follows them into sin, the sin would fall on me...NOW if my daughter is a leader,and i feel i dont have to worry about her picking up any habbits just because her friends, then i would have no problem... If my daughter saud to me one day,mom im gay.. i would be like oh okay...i wouldnt make a bog deal out if it or go crazy, i would just explain and make sure she known it is a sin and if that is still what she wants to do then if she is of age she can..if not she wont have any friends.:)not under my roof anyway

I would not stand in the way of my children being friends with anyone who was nice and kind, and treated my children well.
