How do you pick your tag words?

Once I've responded to a discussion I have the hardest time trying to figure out the tag words for it. Sometimes it takes me longer to do that than it did to write the response! There was a time when I would skip them but I soon found that I actually earned less money by doing that. I guess this is one of the "algorythms" that we don't know about and only figure out by trial and error. Do you have a problem with tag words? Do you skip them completely or always make sure to put some in? did you know it makes a difference in our earnings?

I always use tag words, it's whatever pops into my head, haha. Like for this one I'll probably use just plain ol' "tag words, Mylot tag words, discussion tag words, attached words, identifying words", ya know, something simple but whatever works. And sometimes I only use one, but I'll always throw one in. I also will pull out my dictionary or thesaurus if needed, hahaha!

Exactly! What pops into your head immediately is most likely the most appropriate tag word.;)

There must be something wrong with me because the words seldom just pop into my head after I've written something...lol. I'll have to start noticing that.

I don't struggle with tag words, ctry, because I just pick out a few that are actually included in the discussion. I wasn't sure that they reflected on your earnings, but I did suspect they do. I believe everything about your discussion figures into your earnings.

If you don't add tags everytime you add a response or comment the box asking for them shows up. Once you add tag(s) the box won't show up again. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I add the max tags possible. The main reason is to avoid that box if I add a comment at a later time. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I just skip tags when I respond to a post , but when I start a discussion that can be put under two or three different interests, I tag it.

I don't think there is a need to spend too much time over choosing tagwords. I just choose the one the pops instantly into mind. Tagwords are supposed to be chosen that way too.=)

No i do not have a problem.I always tag the discussion the way the person who started the discussion tagged it..Just like you tagged this discussion "how do you pick your tag words"? well when i tag this discussion i will tag it just the way you did. That makes it simple and it is tagged the right way..

I always have problems picking tag words for my discussions. First it starts with the topic and what i'm discussing, then I add other words just to give it more meaning but sometimes it doesnt always work out that way. This week I have been skipping them as I have limited time online.

Interesting. I never do tags. If I tag other peoples discussions a lot of time my tag doesn't show up and that bugs me. When I write my own discussions I try to fill up my tags because I hate when others write dumb stuff in there. But then they change my tags anyhow. Maybe I should start tagging more :p I just think of things relating to the post. Like this is about mylot, tags, discussions... things like that.

I usually don't use tags for my replies or discussion.... I have no idea if they would make a difference in earning, but at least I know she's not there...

I try to always tag. I heard that it was included in our earnings but, I'm not sure it actually is. I can't find it anywhere in the help files where it says we get paid extra for tagging. Although the help files here are very vague. I always tag before responding so that I already have the existing tags right in front of me. That way I don't use a tag that already exist in the discussion. I always try and use a tag word that is included in the discussion or one of the responses.

I normally only use tag words when I create a discussion. I decide on my tag words depending on what the topic of my conversation is. I don't have a hard time with it. Sometimes I will have more tag words than other times depending on the conversation. I normally put words that I have used in my conversation as Tag words. Thanks. Have a great day.

wow up till this point I used very few and most times others would added them for me as of now i guess i will put atleast one on each of my post. Before i figured most people find topics by interest and not tag words so i didnt really see the point.
