well ur not alone in this.
this is what friends of mine who are hostelites has to say when i asked them abt x'mas celebration.
"attend x'mass and eat meat that's our x'mas".
as for me fortunately i'm with my family but then again same stuff.
attend mass and eat meat.only difference from my hostelite friends we do it as a family.
and of course there will be exchange of sweets with our non-christian friends and neighbours.but at last that's the major reason behind festive celebrations.sharing the spirit of christmas with others as well.

I am supposed to be going home for christmas but I don't know if I am going to now. My husband is due to come home on leave January 11th and we are supposed to go to visit our family and friends at home then as well. I just don't know if that is what I want to do, making two trips within a couple of weeks of each other. Argh! Decisions!

oh, our department will have a party. I'll go and see what they have or i'll just go back to the dorm and going to Mylot and talk with other people! Most importantly i'll call my parents to give them my wishes to them.

Alone! I'm sending my husband off to his family's house and staying here. I just can't get in the spirit this year.
