Ever see something fun for free?

While on vacation or even in your own hometown is something that was/is fun and also free? For example, while in Fort Worth I got to see a stampede at the Fort Worth Stockyards. I guess they do this daily. In Chicago, they have a stained glass museum in Navy Pier which is free to visit. The St. Louis Zoo is free, although you do have to pay for parking. What about you, what have you seen or done for free and in what city?

China, wow. I don't think I can afford a trip that far away. Plus I have so much of the U.S. to see yet. Thanks for posting and have a great day.

Yeah, sounds like a good job. Only thing I don't speak Chinese. I wouldn't want to live in a country where I don't speak the language.

I have been to the teachers day celebration in my girls school last month. Some teachers came and did some skits which were so hilarious and very unlikely of them.

Yeah, there are a few things that you can see for free in Fort Worth. I did a page on it. The Botanic Gardens there is one of my favorite and I can't believe it is free admission, except for the Japanese Garden area.

Fort Worth is on my top ten list of favorite cities. Actually it may be in the top 5, haven't made the list again since my vacation to NYC.

Once a year our symphony orchestra holds the symphony splash in the harbour in town. They set up on this big barge and thousands of people flock downtown to watch the free concert. It is great first off because it is free but it also exposes a lot of people to classical music that otherwise would probably never have a chance to see or hear it. It also gives the city a chance to come together and enjoy our city.

I think Boston does something similar to that on the 4th of July, except the charge for the seats up front although you can hear the music all through the park. Thanks for your response and have a great day.

Although very rarely some good things can be free. This year I went to a small touristic town and it was the day of the town and it was full of people and events and on Saturday evening on the main square there was the concert of one very famous group. I liked the concert very much.
