chatmate on mylot?

i found a new chatmate today. in fact he's one of mylot friends who posted a discussion that he wanted to improve his english. well, since i want to meet people from other countries, i 'volunteered' to talk to him every now and then.
since then, i was just waiting for him to be online but i guess he was so busy with school the past few weeks until this morning. we had a 'getting to know you' conversation this morning and i'm happy and excited to find another friend from the other side of the world. he's nice to talk to and i bet i'll be learning a lot of his culture and country. i'm glad i could be of help to him in improving his english too.
what about you? have you found a chatmate through mylot? i really love this site. there's a lot of opportunities to meet other people and make friends here.

Chatmate is such a wonderful word, and one I actually had not heard before! Thank you! Yes, I love meeting interesting new chatmates online, especially ones who are as busy as I am, lol. Congratulations on making a new friend and I hope you and I, too, make many, many more!

well, i'm glad to add a new word to your dictionary.lol this is the term we use here to refer to people we talk to online. i hope we can be too someday? or if not, i hope too you'll find and make many many friends here, which i'm sure now you do have.

i also love myLot because of the same reason that i get to meet interesting and fun people from around the world. but i haven't met someone that became my chatmate over at ym or anything like that. but there is someone who i constantly talk with here in myLot thru the messaging feature and thru our own discussions. i don't know, maybe both of us are shy to ask of our ym ids or anything, or maybe we aren't that interested to talk online. ^__^;;

I don't do chatting on-line, but I do exchange e-mails with one of my friends here on myLot. I am really excited about the number of people I have met here and am getting to be friends with. Out in the "real world" I don't have many friends, so this is great! I don't have friends because I just don't find people I have much in common with or have similar view points. Here I have found many!
