I had to buy a new vacuum cleaner this weekend

My vacuum cleaner decided to die on me while I was having my house cleaned on Saturday. My cousin came and cleaned my house for me and she called and said I think you need a new vacuum cleaner. My husband had said that it wasn't picking up right. So we went shopping and I bought a new vacuum cleaner. I posted a pic of it below. My cousin was still here cleaning when we got home so she used the new vacuum cleaner first. I told her I didn't mind vacuuming but she said she was here cleaning so she'd do it. Those vacuums aren't cheap though. Why do they cost so much? I think we gave $110.00 for ours but there were some there that were $169 up to $400 for the dyson. There were some cheaper ones than what we got but I don't think they would have worked as well as the one we got.

I can't really compare, but I have a Dyson and it works REALLY well. It picks up everything and you actually feel the vaccum pulling the carpet. My only complaint is that it can be a bit messy to empty because it is bagless but it isn't hard to do.

Yeah, mine is bagless too. I just take the canister off and take it outside and dump it in the trashcan.

I think they are all pretty much alike. I bought one of the really expensive ones from a saleman that came to my house and I actually like the less expensive ones better. The very expensive one the suction was so intense that it was hard to move it around the carpet!

My mother in law bought one of the rainbow vacuum cleaners from a salesman and I hate that thing. She paid a lot of money for it too and I would never pay as much as she did for a vacuum.

I didn't see a picture of your new vaccum here. I agree though, they are expensive. But it is good you paid mid range and not high dollar or cheap. I think the high dollar ones break as fast as the cheap ones do.

I got one of those new dyson cleaners back in the summer, I love it. I works great and is so scilent you can hardly tell it is even running.
