Need notification email for best response!

This is my request to Mylot. If we are notified if we get any Best response, it will be very good. Most of the time unless we visit my best response section, we can't get that we are given a best response. I get very little of them :P Still I want this notification. Also I think all my Mylot friend will agree to this.

I think that will be a great idea... but then, i already have the best response sortie in my page... i get to check it everytime i log in to mylot... why don't you try putting it as a sortie also...
I use to visit the best response page all the time but i got tired of it so i just thought of putting it to my front page as a sortie...

it would be nice to be notified immediately when you get a best response. with that we can immediately thank the author of the discussion for selecting our comment as the best one. ^__^ but it doesn't really matter to if I get notified or not since I check my best responses once in a while and I ake sure I give my gratitude to the discussion author. ^__^

I agree with you and I've thought about it several times. I have to go to the Best responses and check it before I know I have got a best response. sometimes when I comment on a response too, I don't realize till I check on best response! I wish myLot would notify us about it so that we can atleast thank the myLotter:)

Wow, thats a great idea. Its good that you hve started this discussion and I know this will not only be useful for but for all the mylotters. Sometimes I forget the best responses menu and sometimes it would take longer time for thanking the people who have given us the best response.

I agree with you. It will also let other members know that we have chosen their answer as the best response. I actually found about about the "best response" lately. Having an email notification will also encourage more people to choose a best response for the discussion they started. I must admit, whenever my answer is chosen as a best response, it makes me happy.

Normally we concentrate on responses and discussions and we hardly visit other sections. Therefore, I support your view that mylot may please introduce email notification for the BR, so that we can profusely thank those who have given us BR

A plus rating for this discussion! Thank you and what a great idea. After just getting my email notifications back (due to my own error, not due to any fault of MyLot at all), I think this would be one extra added feature. As someone else said that there is the Best Response Sortie; but as a rule, I really don't spend all that much time on my one page. Perhaps I should though. Thanks for the great discussion subha (not to mention that cutie of a picture) ~Donna

Thats an excellent idea! It shouldn't be at all difficult for them to do, we get notifications when we get a response so it wouldn't take much to let us know when we're chosen as best response. Often I'm not aware I've received a best response until much later because I forget to check that, then I feel bad for not thanking the poster!
