What are the drinking laws where you live?

Britain started 24 hour drinking last year, and I was wondering what sore of limitations are put on pub and bar openings in other countries and if people think they are good or not. I haven't really been affected by 24 hour drinking, most pubs and clubs I go to still shut at the same time they did before and maybe open till 12 or 1 on a saturday. I can't see that its affected society at all, as Britain was already full of drunks. What do you think?

goodness thats severe in Bangladesh. i think there was a large misconception regarding 24 hour drinking, a lot of people assumed it meant the bars and clubs would be open 24 hours a day, lol, not the case, as a assistant manager of a pub myself i was not looking forward to this new legislation however we have hardly been affected by it as most customers know their limits and have their own little routines. This may be different for clubs but im sure that it hasnt affected things in such a big way!

Yeah I agree, all the hoohah over raising crime levels "must be because of 24hour drinking", but its not like the streets are lined with drunken people all night long it just seems to have meant an extra hour opening here and there!
