Will race play a role in this presidential campaign as the fight continues on?

I think as the campaign gets further down the stretch, race and gender will become more of an issue. Right now I think the media has been playing the good role for right now...by not really getting into the politics of it. We all know that historically, this years campaign will set a footprint in the history books.

I think race and gender will play a role in the coming election. It may not be felt that much. But people will still think about it. It can never be lost in one's mind.

Yes it will. Americans who hate black people would bot vote for the Obama(I dont know his name). Men who think a female president is absurd would not vote for Clinton. And those who hate both would have no choice at all. (or is there another candidate? I dont know, sorry. Im not american.)

Hi DIVA30G, I sincerely hope that neither race nor gender play a part. It's time to move beyond that and look at what each candidate has to offer. Blessings.
