I think you should do some spring cleaning if you are starting to not be able to find things you need to find because other clutter is in your way! I would throw out more then one thing a day if its that bad!! I do a cleanup every few months where i empty out junk drawers and closets and throw away clothes that no one is going to wear or toys no one plays with. If its still has some use or wear in it then i give it away on freecycle or give it to the second hand store down the street from me. I think you should consider this, being a packrat isn't cool!! my hubby is one and i gotta SNEAK stuff into the garbage sometimes, and he's FOREVER bringing home junk that just sits around and collects dust.. What is the point of having it aaround if it doesn't have a purpose.?

Wow, you must be one creative and sentimental person rolled into one. =) It takes great talent to create something beautiful out of seemingly useless stuffs. If you've been that way for long, it's not surprising that you have a lot of them in your house. It's not practical to keep all of them, otherwise, you have to get a really big house. But it's also a waste to just throw them all away. So I suggest that to make good use of your work, you can either sell them or give them as gifts to your friends or relatives who can have good use for them. Just keep the ones you treasure most or the one that are really useful to you. That way, you can keep on working on your beautiful crafts/art, potentially earn on the side, make others happy, and make your house clutter-free! =)
