Time flying away, life is real-life.
I'm very sorry to hear my friend is lovelorn.
The girl give him a classical and memorable sentence: "marry me? please prepare for a house first...I love you, so I don't ask for a car, or more..."
we came from countryside, we and our family have not much money, a new house is only a dream for my friend at high price of house.
I keep silent...

I think people should be financially able also but sometimes it is so hard to do. The economy is always changing for the worst and it is hard to choose which priority to make first.
Do what you think is best in your life at the time. We only live once. :-)

I have to say that this girl is very mean. Why she has to ask for another one provides her everything? I think this boy should forget this girl as she doesn't even know what love is. I have to accept that we need many things to live. But we also need love. Can a house give you love? Will the car bring you love? I don't think so. There are many things that money can not buy. perhaps you are right, but in many countries, people's income is not proportioned to the house price increasing.
For example, in my city, the average house price is 6000RMB per one centiare,and a house of 100 centiare means 600000RMB, but the average income is only 30000RMB, that is to say, people have to buy a house using 20 years' income without eating and drinking.
What about whose income is low of 30000RMB?
