Are using a router in your network?

how many of you are using third party router such as linksys, d-link, netgear and ETC... what router do you prefer using?

I had a linksys in the past and it worked great for me now I have cable.

Remember their is a different type of router for each kind of use. If you need it for 2 pcs you need one that will work for that. If you want wireless you need to make sure that its adaptable for the use that you need it for to.

Hi ,I prefer linksys router,as i am using it since 3yrs for my laptop.D-Link also Used few times.Its also worked fine.But I prefer Linksys.

My family uses a linksys router. It freezes every now and then, but a cold restart fixes it every time (unplug the power cord and replug it). I'm still not sure why my router does that. But that happens at most, once every two months. Most of my friends say that Cisco (the company that produces linksys routers) is the most reputable company for routers. I use a lynksys wireless adapter as well, and I have never had problems with that. My sister used to use a d-link wireless adapter, and it was horrible. It looked ugly, and it only worked if you banged on it hard enough. I bought her a netgear adapter that was pretty cheap (25ish dollars) and it hasn't had problems either.

I am currently using a Linksys router for my laptop. I haven't used any other ones, but I have never had a problem with Linksys and I have been using it for about 2 years!
