Why not put together a jigsaw puzzle. Or how about writing a short story on a subject that you know very little about so that you will have to do a lot of research at the library. You could create a biblical crossword puzzle to share at Sunday school. Or why not make your own postcards out of card stock, file folders, or fronts of used greeting cards. Decorate them and mail them to friends, relatives, children of friends, or maybe a soldier overseas. Research all the local area phone books for out of the way, free fun stuff to do. Or better yet go to www.associatedcontent.com/article/199254/bored_again_50_things_to_do.html and read all 50 of the things I came up with to do. How many more things can you come up with?

Thanks for the fun things to do.I do crafts, but here lately I been taking more time here on the internet trying to make money. It is not leaving me much time. When I do have time I like to build log lamps out of small logs, I get from the woods.I also build bird houses and feeders. Then I have my dog she always wants to play or go for a walk.

Cooking is definitely a boredom buster. So how about freezing some of what you cook instead of eating it all, then you'll have a quick meal for another day. Just thaw, heat and serve. You could also cook and give it to a friend or homebound neighbor, then you won't be eating it!

I think the handmade ones are so lovely and so well thought out. I really enjoy getting them and seeing the senders creativity shine through.
