Hi everyone! Have you been to a high school reunion? Well, our school is an exclusive girls school, where graduates are fond of reunions. Alumnae really take it seriously, we have torch parade, programs and other activities, aside from the school activities; we have what we call our batch night. We'll go to a place where we can have fun for ourselves. Tell stories, games and more fun. It is usually the jubilarians who are very active. Its fun because you'll see old classmate and revive the old friendship. But the sad thing is out of 300 graduates, only less than 50 will be present. They are the one who become very rich and have good work to brag about. A few who is not so... so ... so dare to go, and one is me. Well, some will raise eyebrows but I don't care, as long as I don't bother them. I have my simple live to live with simple pleasures. You will see the group will have to be two: the rich group and the not so group. Whatever, it is fun and I will enjoy the moment. I don't want to be a kill joy.

hi fairlady! ^__^ so when is your high school reunion gonna be? i haven't been in a school reunion so i can't really tell how the experience would be. i'm hoping of experiencing one though since this year is already the 10th year since me and my high school batchmates have graduated. but no one would want to organize a reunion so i think experiencing one would still be far in the future. .

It was last February 8 - 9, no regrets in attending the reunions. This is my second time, although yearly we have but every five years is the grand reunion. So our next big bang is on our Ruby Homecoming. We are thinking what will be our next pakulo after the "fashion show" that seems to look like "Desperate Housewives" ha ha ha....

I think that school reunions are only good when you have been left for at least 40 years. Before that they attract, as you say, only those who think that they have made it in life. Personally, I would sooner go out to dinner with 2 or 3 good friends, than 300 who I only remember as teenagers.

I may go out to dinner to my closes friends but after the main event. It is also a killjoy on your part if you will not join the fun. After all it was really so much fun, and forget the who who in the group. To sum it, people here in our place have to always go back home wherever they have been in their life. They always say "THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME". So getting in touch with old classmates and friends is necessary. Thanks for the nice response, you are also right.
