Set up a chocolate buffet and invite your friends... I guarantee they'll all be there to help you celebrate!!

Oh please, if I had a chocolate buffet and invited my friends they would never leave! I will however have to buy some chocolate and sit in my office and have a special private celebration of the event!

We all celebrate in the way we're the most comfortable... I love to give parties, and I know everyone would come to that one!LOL! And if I make it a pot luck, we'll get an interesting variety!

I gave up sweets for Lent so the chocolate party will have to wait...but it's a great idea. You could have chocolate martinis, hot chocolate, s'mores, chocolate fondue with fruits, cookies, cakes, cocoa ravioli...the possibilities are endless and my mouth is watering :p

Don't give up! There is also chocolate mint day, chocolate caramel day, chocolate fudge day, etc!! I used to make chocolate pasta... boiled al dente and served with whipped cream and chopped nuts... glorious!

Keep this thread going, I can tell that you are going to be a great source of chocolate recipes. I will have to try the one you mentioned about melting chocolate over chocolate. Wow, and it sounds very easy too. I bet I can find some of those flavors even now, as people prepare for Valentine's Day.

I want to work with the minty ones, too... I just didn't think they'd mix well with the cherry flavor!Chocolate chip recipes are easy... 30 seconds or so in the microwave, and its ready. The waiting while it cools is torture, though...

You have just increased my resolve to try a new recipe. I will then share chocolate with my co workers at school. Sometimes that is all that makes our life hold together. Please pass the chocolate.

At Christmas, I bought every flavor of baking chips, from cherry treasures to very dark mini-chips. I layered them in a baking dish along with some slivered almonds, leaving gaps... then I melted a BIG bag of semi-sweet chips mixed with 2 tablespoons of cream and poured that over all... when it was half-cooled, I cut it into 1 inch squares. Candy over candy, chocolate on chocolate... can't beat that!

LOL! That separates it from Chocolate Caramel Day, and Chocolate Mint Day, etc. There's a day for every flavor of chocolate... and if we tried to remember everyone for all the days there are, we'd never sleep! Glad you joined in, my friend!
