Why Am I Getting PM's that my Friends Are Starting New Discussions?

This has got to be the stupidest upgrade since installing the stalker page!
I get e-mails now telling me my friend so and so has started a new discussion but they are in the forms of private messages.
So when I click the link in the email it tells me that I HAVE NO NEW Private Messages and I am forced to back out to my stalker page to see the link to my friends new discussion.
If it isn't broken DON'T fix it!
Am I the only one annoyed by this newest upgrade?

My PM box is groaning and worse, as you know already, my Yaho address book is affected. I have e mailed myLot but I am not amused. I don't mind my myLot friends knowing that I have made a post but my real world friends don't need it. Fortunately there aren't too many of them as I use another e mail for most World stuff. But Grrrrrrrrr. If I turn the advisor off I shall never work out who has replied.

I don't know hon. I am not getting that at all. I am getting the regular email messages still. I am not currently having any problems with the upgrade. I really find it odd that this is only affecting some users.

It's happened only to the last few notifications that I got...so I guess it's some latest upgrade. But it's crazy...because it's taking so long for me to post to ONE discussion...and I never bothered to go to the 'stalker page' (as you call it) before this.
Grr....things were so convenient...what is the point of this change? And they still haven't fixed the part where I go back to the first page after I comment to a response!

Just wait until you try to give someone a best response. I have tried 3 times in one of my older discussions and the 'mark best response" link just keeps taking me to my myLot friends activity page.
They don't fix anything around here that does the avid users any good. They just want us to think they do something besides sit on their butts deleting perfectly good discussions all day.

Ok..that problem has been fixed....I can now go straight to the discussions from my e-mail box. But I still am not comfortable with the new format in the mailbox...it's too small!
I haven't tried the BR stuff yet.
Now why would anyone want to mess with something that was working??

Maybe it's just some odd quirk on yours that will resolve itself soon...I think that would be quite annoying!

I have notify on for all my friends so I don't know. Hope yours is fixed by now.

Start a new discussion, you will have the problem or maybe you don't have notify on for any of your friends. That seems to be the only way to fix it. :(

I kinda like the smilies!! but the emails are whack!! I can't get to the discussion, and My referal id has changed too at the bottom its my actual name now now my username ? I'm confused. Why is it broken!! Dont they test this stuff before they implement it ?

I haven't done it yet but Crash said we can opt out of that. I think it was a dumb thing to do but I guess some members asked for it.

i am not encountering that problem...maybe something wrong with the newest upgrade made by the site...when i received email from mylot i noticed immediately because install my msn to my task bar...i always check who among my friend did posting new discussions and comment it if it catches my interest.
