In each magazine I did find recenlty soemthing about soy, how healthy it is and why you should eat it. So I am thinking to add it to our food, but have no idea how to prepare it or where I can buy it. All what I find was a milk , I tried the chocolate one, not bad, but not sure how will taste the plain. Do you use soy in cooking?

I use tofu from time to time, but mostly we love the soy milk, especially the dark chocolate. There are arguments back and forth in the media over whether commercial soy products are healthy or not, but soy milk makes wonderful smoothies and although the plain flavor does not taste good to me all by itself is it great for smoothies because then we can add the kind of sweeteners we like, along with fresh or frozen fruit. Adding frozen chunks of fruit to a little soy milk in the blender makes wonderful and healthy frozen drinks with the consistency of a milkshake.

I use soy milk when I eat cereal, but I don't normally use milk beyond that. Cooking with soy milk doesn't always make the recipe turn out right. The vanilla soy milk actually makes cereal taste better than if it just had regular milk. I wanted to make things a little healthier for myself, and doing that isn't much, but it is something. Also, soy based candles burn cleaner and are also better for people with allergies. I can tell a difference when I burn the soy based candles versus the other types.

I really like soy beans boiled and lightly salted and buttered - I also like them pan fried. I am also fond of tofu, but only if it is extra firm. Soy is an excellent source of low fat protein... I heard something about the hormones that are in it are not good, but I am not sure if that is all hype or legit.

Soy is one of the main and important food in my country. We can use it to make soy sauce which is a very popular sauce. And it can make delicious dishes, too. And the Tofu is made from soy and it's also a very healthy food. And soy can make a soy milk which is healthy and delicious.

Well, you can find them in the groceries (a little pricey though) where you can find some organic stuff. I am talking about soy milk which I use for my cereals, soy butter its like a peanut butter and other products. With regards to soy sauce, I use it a lot in cooking my meat, fish, chicken and veggies.... it's my seasoning instead of salt... it adds color to the food. Don't use much though because your food can get to salty. I use it for condiments too as a simple sauce for fried meat, fish, or chicken.
