Here are my Top 10 Tips to help get you started with your work from home job, or to help get you back on track and focused, if you already work from your home! 1. Dedicate one room or secluded area of your home that is away from all distractions of the household. 2. Make out your weekly schedule in advance schedule each day with the hours you will be working each day of the week. 3. Have a set schedule for the week/month and stick to this schedule just as you did when you worked outside of the house for a boss. 4. It is important to have a day planner. Write down everything you have planned for your days in your planner. ie: work, laundry, breaks, family time, meals, etc. 5. Having everything written down in your planner will make it easier for you to not get distracted and off track doing other things. 6. It is wise to let members of the household know of your work schedule and when you take your breaks. They know they will have your undivided attention during your break time. 7. Have your office/work area set up and ready for work each day. Make sure your internet/computer is working properly and anything else you use for your job is in working order and ready for the day. 8. If you do marketing/advertising for your work, schedule that time each week to market your business, work, job, etc. If you don't market yourself and your work, no one will do it for you. 9. Be prepared each day and professional.Remember, even though we are blessed to be working from our home...we still have to work! 10. Most importantly, make the most of each and everyday. Enjoy yourself and have fun :o) I hope these Top 10 Work From Home Tips help you on your journey to work from home; or to help you get back on track and focused. Thanks for these tips! I am interested in finding a job that will allow me to work from home since my husband's career requires us to relocate frequently, and I would like to be able to take my job with me if possible. I will keep these tips in mind! Thanks!
