Is this always true? Did it happen to you?

I really wouldn't know since I'm marrying my first love the first time around. But I would probably say that unless you were torn apart by something entirely out of your control like moving or job changes or young love then no. Exes are exes for a reason and I wouldn't fully understand people getting back together after they broke up.

Um, I already said that. Although I completely disagree with your first point. But not everyone goes through that, so it's unfair to say they have it better. In my opinion, they have it worse because they had wasted years between them. I couldn't bear that.

you're right..time have been wasted for the two of them..and i also think it's like they have the love but it is not yet the right time for them to be together..how sad..

i think this situation is applicable for those relationships that have failed because of: 1) they are both too young and unprepared to make their relationship reach until the end; 2) they are being torn apart by job and career; 3) they are separated by their parents; 4) both are not yet sure of themselves if they are "the one meant for each other"; 5) other factors which they might have influenced them to be separated But later on realized that they still have unfinished business and/or they still have love for this person despite the loss of communication and time that they are apart..

it really depends on the couple. sometimes, it will just make the situation worst. and then, both of the parties hurt each other.

i agree that it still depends on the couple..i just hope that those couples/in-relationships who are given second chances should try to make a go of it or rather try to make their relationship more reasonable the second time around for it is there chance!

Well for some it may be true and for some it may not be. why because not all second times are the same. It has the different intensities and experiences that's why its not always true.

yes, i guess it all depends on the person, on their second chance and on how they spent it together..

Yes, it is always better the second time around if you learn from that mistakes and you make amendments on the second time and promise you dont do the same thing to ruin the relationship coz it is just life if you are given a second chance to live you have to be a better person and you have that knowledge with in you that these things that happened in the past is a lesson that you should keep

I think so. but it never happened to me. Once I say goodbye , it really is goodbye and move on. In my experience I've waited for that guy but he did not come back. I wanna know if love is really sweeter the second time so If he comes back I wanna give it a chance.

I think so love is sweeter the second time. It haven't happened to me. I waited for a guy but he never come back and now he has a son. If I would be given a chance to experience this then I'll grab the opportunity. I really believe that love is sweeter the second time.
