what i seen in here, so many discussion that i meet, always put referral link within discussion. mostly it comes from new members of mylot. i just wondering (please don't be offense) do new member never take a look about guidelines of mylot so they seem break of mylot's rule? some of response in there, remind the about not put any referral link inside the discussin but again they do the same thing again. by this case, do you like to remind them or just leave it on till mylot erase the discussion? wanna hear soe opinion in here, please

Actually this does not happen to new members only. I remember seeing a 'senior' member with 1000 over postings also posted his/her referral link in a discussion.

yup, it also could be reason why new embers put their referral link within their discussion. the funny thing, there is in top discussion list which one of the discussion having referral link but still not deleted by mylot. i just wonder how could?

I guess this also gives new members the impression that it is okay to post referral link in the discussion since such a senior member also does it.

Hello dear plumwish. I am afraid that new members are not clear about this and it is very helpful for them to read the guideline of mylot. I think this discussion is very helpful to new mylotters, but I am wondering whether it is ok to post a mylot discussion link after reading this one of yours. I hope that it is ok because last night I posted a discussion about how I could post discussion links as I did not know how and wanted to learn about it. I hope that it is ok in my case. Thanks.

I have seen both new and senior members put referral links.. But i think its because its so hard to get referrals.. for anything anymore.. So they figure try it here with plenty of people around someone is boud to sign up.. But its a shame thought that all that hard work.. just gets deleted.. cause its against the guidelines.. I don't put any, i don't think i ever have.. but i don't cause id rather be safe then sorry.. i don't want to be banned or anything cause i like it here..

Yeah. I think alot of times, new members just join and do not take the time to read the rules ro the guidelines here. Some may be a little confuesed also as to the do's and dont's here. I just let Mylot catch the discussion instead of replying to them. We will waste time, lose points and earnings for doing so anyway.

stephcjh is quite right my dear frend. mylot is not allwoed anymore ay pstingof referral link of program wthin the discussion. it seems that mylot really mind if the forum only using for advtise programin order toget many referral without posting a quality discussion. in fct in se forum, put ay referral program link would not earn some cash

Isn't the more referals we have, the more opinions there are in myLot? And isn't that's what myLot want? Isn't that what we are doing here? If there is nobody here, will you stay?

I think that those new members are excited to promote their programs and just want some referrals. In the long run, they will not stay long. But there are those who learn from their mistake and have gone on to the top of mylot leaderboard! What I do is just leave it there and let mylot moderators take care of them! Happy posting to you!

hi, I also keep wondering a lot. it seemed like many new members just didn't notice the rule, whether it was on myLot or even some other forums I joined. it just happened and happened again with the new members. usually I didn't remind them, because other members just had done it quickly. the moderators then, would often find out sooner, and the member's post would just either be deleted or warned by the moderator. it is the same here in myLot. I would just leave it like that. however, I also wonder a lot, because I notice some old members sometimes did it too. perhaps they were too obsessed in getting referrals and completely ignored the rule, like betting, I guess they knew the risk but perhaps they thought by doing this they would be able to catch one or two referrals. however I would not recommend anyone doing this. it is just annoying for many people, especially when the person who did it wasn't the owner of the threads / discussions.

I believe that some new memebres doesn't read rules at first, but then when you tell them that is not aloud I think they just want to promote their programms here and not socialize or anything like that. Mylot is probably on few days visit or them and they don't care if they don't follow the rules.

Wondering if it is okay to print links that are not self referral but instead links that will help to educate the person who one is debating with about the facts on an issue when they do not seem to be reading my words or believing them? As you might have guessed, I did this in the political area as I wanted to prove a point.
