Just wanted to introduce myself

Hi everyone, I am very new to myLot and just wanted to say hello. I have beeen having a look around and this site seems very friendly. Although I love my family to bits I dont get out to socialise very much these days and it will be so nice to have other people to talk, and listen, to. I look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome to myLot Minorma. I am new as well. I've been a member of this site for about 2 weeks now and I enjoy the conversation. I am like you, I don't get much time to socialize with adults. I have 2 very small children that I stay home with. Mu 2 year old is just starting to use full sentences (if you know what I mean). I am not much of a telephone person, so this site is right up my ally. Glad to have you here! Enjoy the discussions!~

Thanks for the welcome teeaye98, my children are much older, my youngest is 11 and the oldest is 19. I have (happily) dedicated the last 19 years to them, at the same time helping my husband with his printing company, so my social life has suffered in the process - it is infact non-existant. This site might just be what I need too.

Hi, Minorma. I'm another newbie. I just joined yesterday. I love this site already. Everyone I've commented to so far has been real kind. I'm 65, retired, and live in West Virginia, USA. I love it here, but I'm pretty much in the sticks and unless a friend or my son take me somewhere, I don't get out much at all.
Hey, Teeaye. Isn't it fun when they start talking "real" talk? I was talking to a 3-year-old last night and was amazed at how well she talked. Kids grow so fast.
