Free Websites???

I'm wanting to get my own website. So I wanted some advice. I've heard there are free websites, one being freewebs.com. Is that any good? How hard is it to have a website? I know it can't be as easy as a blog but is it kind of like that? I've done pretty well with getting traffic to my blog so I figured I might as well get my own website set up and help out others with making money on gpt sites as well as work on my referral lines. Thanks for your help, it's very much appreciated:)

I've tried Freewebs and its pretty easy to set up. They have templates for different pages and you don't need to know coding to get started. Good luck!

I've been a member of freewebs but i didn't like it very much. There are two reasons for this, i wanted to upload from a software package i was using (via FTP) and i wanted to be able to have larger file sizes than they allowed. I found www.110mb.com instead, which lets me do both those things and i've been very pleased with it, considering it's free, it's very good. As for creating your site. I prefer using desk top publishing type software which allows you to lay everything out the way you want, and then you just upload via ftp when you're done. A great free program for designing websites is serif web page plus. I use the advanced version, but the free one is pretty good too. It can be found at http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/ The other programs on there are worth looking at too!
