a house is just a building while a home is a place where you feel love, security, and belongingness..

Fully agreed house is a building whereas home is made by the living relationship of its occupant.

A house is a free standing single family residence. A home is where you live.

Well, right now, I live in a house. It's almost always full of stress and tension. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells no matter what I do. I have no privacy and most of the time it seems like I can't do anything that makes me happy because I'm too busy trying to keep everyone else happy. What I want is to live in a home. A place where I can hang pictures of my kids, have a pillow fight on those lay Sunday mornings, turn the music up loud and just have fun. Honestly, at this point, I'd even be thrilled to shower and do laundry whenever I want to instead of whenever is good for someone else.

The difference would always be determined by the ones who are living within it. A house as well as a home, gives shelter to those who live in it. As long as the group within that structure interacts with each other and provides ease and comfort even if there aren't any items to provide ease like couches or beds, you can consider it as a home.
