I think neither is as important as the time between them, especially the 3 important years when Jesus do His works. We have wrongly emphasized the important thing on Christmas and Easter. Of course both are spectacular events. But the most important thing of Jesus that guide our life is His teaching, which is done in the 3 important years.

I am a non Christian so this is just a guess. I think it is Easter. Jesus was sent for Easter. His birthday is important but it is only the beginning. Easter is His job has finished.

I think it depends whether you belong to the Eastern Rite or Western Christianity. In the West people tend to stress Christmas and it has now become an almost secular holiday. In the Eastern Rite there is much celebration at Easter. People of Ukrainian, Polish, Russian and other Eastern Christian rites greet each other on Easter with the words "Christ is risen", the other person responds with the greeting " he is truly risen". Also the foods, ham, special Easter breads, coloured eggs, cottage cheese and butter are packed into decorated baskets and taken to the church on Saturday before Easter and blessed by the priest. Those foods are eaten on Easter Sunday after the service. People also visit their beloved departed in the cemetery.

Both are important. But Easter should be more observed.

Both. I guess both are important because my mum usually tells us to go to church and pray and be thankful on occassions like Christmas and Easter

Did you know Christianity existed for hundreds of years before it was even decided that the birth of Jesus was something WORTH celebrating? Before then, the focus was on Easter. See the following site for more information: http://www.history.com/minisites/christmas/

Saying that one is more important doesn't mean its an either or situation where the the other wouldn't exist at all. Easter is far more important.
