i am not really into eating so much of bread but inn recent times i have found that we take so much of it in my family.i always will go for white bread until one day when i went to the stores to buy bread and my eye caught the nutritional content on the package of white bread i decide to read and check that of the brown bread as well, needless to say that i ended up buying brown because in my opinion its nutritional value is better and it content fibers which i know is good for the health, which do you prefer white or brown bread?,i prefer brown now

Ask your grocer to stock white whole wheat bread! I think it is made by Sara Lee and has some fiber but is still soft!

I don't care for white bread unless I'm having a turkey sandwich. Otherwise, I eat whole wheat or rye, or something like that. I make some of my own bread and always put whole wheat flour in it.

I couldn't really describe the taste, but if you like turkey and you like white bread, you'll like the combination. I always use mayonnaise on mine, and a little lettuce.

I like whole grain bread! I have bought white whole wheat bread, as it is still soft but does have some fiber! I hate to see anything called bread if it contains no fiber!

After I discovered that most flour and bread does not even have fiber, I changed what I buy and what I eat!

I like both, brown and white...my favourite would most certainly be white...but then again I love granary bread...the little nutty bits are scrummy...plus i love crusty bread...or the crusts from the loaves of bread....

you agree wheat bread is good but cj=hoose white bread because of tatse ,given a chance to trade between nutrition and taste which would pick first?

I would choose taste, because otherwise it would be a waste of the good food I am putting in the sandwich, because I would not be enjoying it with the taste of brown bead surrounding it.

Once upon a time I used to have White bread. It was our family's regular buy. Then somewhere down the line just like you did our family too was introduced to the nutritional benefits of Brown Bread. And the many Brown Bread brands available to us all of a sudden only made the shift easier. But know what even this preference for Brown Bread has been shortlived although not voluntarily. After my marriage it is back to buying the White Bread more regulary. This is because my Wife doesn't like Brown Bread as she has eaten White Bread all her Life and feels that Brown Bread is to be given only to Patients and sick!!!

i can understand especially with women they have to make the decision on what we eat at home so if you want peace you have to adapt to their way of thinking when it comes to food in the house

I didn't know there's such a thing called white bread. Is it by the color when it's still raw or still a dough or something..? Well maybe in other country that's best in bread making, they do use different kinds of ingredients. I always buy brown ones by the way.

I love all kinds of bread, unfortunately I have trouble eating bread and have to be careful or else it gives me a belly ache, especially brown bread which I like best as I think that it is more tasty. I have however recently found a bread that I can eat without suffering and is also really good in its nutritional values and it is tasty too, so I have been sticking to that! It is brown bread too.

I like brown bread more; like you said, it's better for your health, and I prefer the taste. Though there are some things I prefer white bread for, like fish finger sandwiches, and cheese and marmite sandwiches! lol.

I do not like wheat bread. I love white bread even if it is not the best for me. I did for a while eat oatmeal bread which was better for me and very tasty. The bad thing is I can't get it where I am now. I really miss it sometimes.

If by brown you mean wheat bread (or some other grain), then yes, I prefer it now too. I've been eating wheat bread exclusively for years now and I don't know if it's helped all that much for me nutritionally, but it's still better than plain white. The only thing I might use white bread for is French Toast. Wheat toast just isn't the same.

I love white bread and this is what I usually eat. There is a particular wheat bread that I love though but I can't for the life of me remember the name. my grandpa used to bring it with him when he came on vacation. There were oats and stuff on the crust. I love cinnamon raisin bread as long as the cinnamon isn't overpowering as well. But all in all, give me white anyday and I'm a happy chappy!
