I do not think women will ever be treated as equally as a man. It has gotten better for alot of them but the man still has the upper hand in alot of cases.

mostly it relates with working parts, but not always working outside, I believe. back then women were just around kitchens, but these days their fields of working are just wider than before. however, most people say that no matter how emancipation has grown, women would still have to be able to cook and to have the women skills (at least like sewing etc) and I think most females have lost the skills nowadays, or they just forgot it because of the consumptive lifestyle of today's generation. I notice most of us have rarely fixed our own clothes nowadays.

We can do anything a man can do they just dont pay us for what we can do no equal pay. I found that in my feild of welding that I did get the pay a man got but if I welded better than them they didnt like it one bit didnt get a job on account I welded better than the boss!

Hello, plumwish Woman emancipation? I have not heard it for a long time, fren....I am affraid it is not relevant-topic for right now, as we all witness women get all access to play a very significant role, not only in legislative, but also in executive. We even ever have a woman president: Megawati Soekarnoputri. I am so glad to see many key posts in cabinet is filled by women, such as Meutia Hatta, Siti Fadillah Supari, and Sri Mulyani. This fact shows us that Indonesia is introducing woman-empowering policy. You see a bird, plumwish? She has two wings; right wing and left wing. This bird can fly with her two wings. So is Indonesia. She need gender-equality to make this country strong. That is why I dont see woman-emancipation be a relevant topics.
