I am using optical mouse for more than 3 years. I have not changed my mouse till now. I have logitec mouse and it has not given any problem till now. I don't understand why you have to change the mouse so frequently

Thats great with logitec. I have not checked the warranty. It is still happier to hear that they replaced your mouse with new one. They also provide good service after sale. I am happy that I also have logitec mouse and it had no problem till now

Wow! Well I do not change my mouse NEARLY as much as you do. I change my mouse probably about every year and a half to 2 years or so. I have had about 3 mouses in the last 4.5 years..

Every months? That's too frequent. I bought my computer in 2003 and so far I have only changed my keyboard and my mouse once. I don't buy the expensive ones. Actually it's the opposite. I buy cheap ones but I make sure I am buying a quality one. I hope you can get yourself a good mouse that would last at least one or two years.

I just went through three mice in as many months, two in one week, all the same model. The left mouse button snapped off on all of them. I had had the previous mouse & keyboard for about two years.

I have had my trackball for 5 or 6 years. when it does not work open up and clean works like new. The mouse on my laptop is built in so it does not get replaced. I have not had problems with either my desktop or laptop mouse.

I've had my mouse for a year, but haven't replaced it because its a pretty expensive wireless laser mouse. My primary button was getting worn, so what i did was place a piece of packaging plastic in between the button and it's "cover". Works like new now :P Although after a month it's starting to ware down :(

Well, ever since I switched to a Microsoft Wireless keyboard and mouse, I am having a lot better results with my mouse. When it stops acting as good as it should, it is usually time for me to change the batteries on it. Before I got this one, I usually had to get a New mouse about every yr. or so. If you can afford it, you should look into Wireless. Even though they are more expensive, they are worth it in the long run.

Very... rarely! I must have used this mouse for years, probably even a decade. It is still functioning quite well and I have no intention to change it. Mine is not even an expensive mouse - I think I bought it for around US$20. And I can say that I am a very "heavy" user and if I can use the same mouse for YEARS, anyone else can too.

I don't think about changing my mouse until it actually stops working. Well, except for right now. I have a laptop usb mouse hooked up to my desktop. It works for general purposes, but the cord is too small, and so is the mouse itself. I want a regular sized laser mouse eventually, but there is no rush. The reason I have this mouse is that my old rollerball mouse got a short in the cord somehow. It took me a while to figure it out. I cleaned the trackball and everything, and it would only work some of the time. I bought this current mouse to replace it, but I didn't realize it was this small until I got it home.

I have an optical mouse that I have been using for a year and a half and it still works fine. Every 3 months is too often. Try using a mouse pad, and keep it clean. Take the ball out and clean it every once in a while and it should last longer. Or buy a different kind.

In 8 years I've only had 3 mouses. I only changed the mouse when it started to malfunction. Maybe you are buying poor quality mouses... otherwise why would it broke in 3 months?

I changed mouse every year. Lately, I changed to an optical mouse. It works better and you don't have those bumped issue with this mouse. You don't even have to clean the roller regularly because it don't have a roller. You only need a good flat surface and a good mouse pad. I still don't know if it reliable but it's been working fine since I bought it 3 months ago.

I still have the same mouse I got with my puter 2 years ago. As long as cleaning it works no need to spend extra money.

When I first got my computer from Dell, the mouse it came with always needed cleaned out on the rolly thing inside and I remember going through 2 of those. But then I bought a Logitec mouse that doesn't have the rolly thing. I've been using it for several years and it still works fine.

every 3 months!?!?! what do you do with it? I have an optical Intelimouse for over 8 years on my desktop computer, I replaced the computer but I kept the mouse. I believe it was the first version of the Intelimouse series and it still works perfectly. I also have a laptop but I have an optical wireless mouse to go with it. I have it for 3 months but I am planing on keeping it as long as it works.
