Getting Rid of Mosquitos - Here's a tip

I heard the other day that you can spray Listerine mouthwash and even other kinds around the ground at a party to get rid of mosquitos. Has anyone ever done this? I want to try this to see if it works, and if it does, will it work on other bugs.

Like I said, as soon as we get bad mosquitos, which should start soon, I will try it and post back to let everyone know if it works.

Personally i have never heard of listerine killing mosquitos before. That one is new, but if it works let me know, i would try it and tell you but i havent seen mosquitoes here in the Uk for eight years.

Well your lucky there. They just started to come out here. We went golfing the other day and the black flies are out too.

Mosquitos are very harmful especially those that are carrying some diseases in them. I have been a victim once when I was admitted to a hospital brought by the dengue fever from a mosquito bite. Really terrible. Thank you for sharing.

That sounds awful. We have some disease that gets worse here too with the mosquitos. It is bad. So the news people tell everyone not to have any water sitting around that will breed the mosquitos. Scary.

I have never heard of using listerine mouthwash to keep the mosquitios at bay. We found a product last year called Cutter that you spray on your lawn and it cuts down the moqutios by about 90 percent from what we have seen and it lasts about 3 to 4 weeks it would be great to use before a party.

I will try the mouthwash and post back with results. I have never heard of it either. But I bet my lawn and deck will be smelling minty fresh.
