The environment that we live in can affect our personality. Environment is a big factor involved around our personality. How we adapt and how we interact with it.
If you live in the Loud, crowded, or squater area...You can't avoid to bring it up or bring it inside to you. It show's on how you interact with other people. You can be loud too...
The way you acting is also the same as they acting too. Sometimes parents hard to control their child to do so...Even their are some parent's try to descipline their child in a well mannered in the crowded or squater place...There are some other behaviour that their child adopted from it. Environment is the most influencial thing in this world.
Our personality is who we are..You can't hide it and it really showed up. The real us is within us...

This is what I used to think to when I was young, but now I have realised that it is the other way round. It is your own thinking that creates the envioronment around you. For example we are two sisters and one brother, though our parents brought up in similar environment but our behaviors are different. I always think people in this world are good and believe me I always find good people around me. My brother thinks this world is there to deceit others and he does get people who deceive him.
So if you will read book "the master mind" by J.K.Fennel then you will realise the power of your thinking and actions of subconscious.

I do agree with you that our thinking is powerful. But we can't deny the fact that the environment really affects our personality. Although we can change it thru our mind. Thru changing the way we think. The way we adapt..And we are or if our mind aware then its the way how we used our thinking with it.
What we saw and the way our parents brought us up especially if we mold from it from we are still a child then it can really affect our personality. Even we have a different traits or behaviour from our brothers but there are still some other traits or behaviour that similariy or the same....
