The Templar knights were the best-known of the Military Orders that existed during the crusades. They had amass a great wealth in terms of land, revenue and manpower. This wealth was built through a combination of special privileges and the ingenuity and the efforts of the order itself. These guys were the Rockstars, the high rollers big pimp in' show stoppers, plus, they wore the coolest things, bling-bling on the shield and kevlar. What do u think?

The Knight Templar is an intriguing part of history. There is still so much not known about them and it makes them perfect for authors to use them for fictional purposes. I enjoy reading the different theories that some have placed upon them. They have been fodder for such theories for years and there are plenty of books and movies for that matter out there that use them to their advantages. They did though have a great deal of power and were spread throughout Europe. These were not men to mess with at all. They were ones to be reckoned with. Until their disbandment no one crossed them with impunity.

I find them fascinating and I've always wanted to know more about them. I've watched Discovery documentaries...the movie ,,National Treasure'' also mentions them of having a treasure, I don't know if it's true, but it would be awesome to have a treasure that big. Also they were the guardians of the Holy Grail, that's awesome too!

Yea i always stop to watch the history channel when they show documentaries on the knights templar and their crusades. It's fascinating to learn how they were , even hid some of their treasures somewhere, it just adds to the mystery.

I find the Knights Templar fascinating, but I am a huge history buff. I have done a lot of research on them. They were the high rollers with money and power. So mysterious. Some people claim that the order never completely vanished, that it is still around today. Guess it just depends on what you want to believe.

I agree on that notion being mysterious but they were hunted down as well. I don't know if the real true blood pledged templar knights survived cause in history; it says they were killed, each one of them.
