I've always prefered older boyfriends which is funny because my fiancee is two years younger than me. It has been my understanding that boys mature slower than girls and to have a boyfriend on the same maturity level as you girls need to be with a guy that's older. I guess I'm just immature for my age. Or maybe he's mature for his age. I don't know. ;p

Well, for me, I prefer an older than me. Girls is easier to be mature than the boys. So, i want a guy who knows well what he doing and can handle me right or understand me.

it is said that women are more mature to men by 3 years, so it's better if your boyfriend is older, so that the mentality is somewhat equal.

I will choose the older boyfriend cause they are mature enough to weigh things. They know how to play the games of life. I dont mean that younger guys dont do the same, it's just that... it's really different to be with experienced people... You will learn a lot of things.

I think that what ever floats your boat is what should work for you. You cant predict the future or know who you will fall for or have a relationship with. I myself am 27 and my boyfriend is 33, not huge, but its my biggest difference yet. I like having a man thats a little older, all the guys my age are still stuck in the ''party'' phase. My man is a little more sensible and still has a sexy boyish way about him. So i say older man has been working for me!

I have always had boyfriends older than I am. There was a time I had a boyfriend of my age though. I don't know, maybe I just wanted to be the one taken care of. Hahaha! Seriously, I prefer guys older than I am because in my experience, they are more matured mentally and emotionally. Not that I am saying that a younger boyfriend is immature but in my experience, yes.

I would prefer someone who is two to five years older than me. If possible, I don't want to settle to someone who is younger than me because women think maturely than men of their age. Also, both men and women must take care of the relationship to make it work and a balance personality is needed for that.

I like having an older boyfriend because I like guys that can make me feel safe and protect me. I want a guy that's hopefully a little more mature and has had previous relationships so they know how to treat a girl right. I don't usually like being the dominate one in a relationship so that's why I like guys that are a few years older than me. I wouldn't want to date a guy that's more than 5 years older than me because that would freak me out. I've dated younger guys and it's never a sucessful or long lasting relationship.

Well I have dated both older and younger guys and in some way i think i would most likely choose an older guy, some older guys are more mature than younger, but then there are younger guys who are more mature so it just depends.

I prefer older boyfriends. You see most guys mature slower than girls. But I can have someone mature enough even he's younger.
