Are you lazy somtimes?

So here's the story. I hate (yes loathe) cutting the lawn. It's something I never liked to do. Perhaps that makes me lazy, I really know. Anyway, I was talking with my parents regarding hiring a lawn service to do it. Mom thought it was a good idea while Dad thought it was a waste of time. Dad told me he was going to cut the front lawn today and that I could cut the back lawn today or tomorrow. Well today Dad then backed out of his deal and said I had to cut the whole lawn today. However I get these bad headaches sometimes (migraines) and you guessed it...I have one right now. No, I'm not lying either...my head really hurts! There's no way I'm going to be cutting it today, I'll have to do it tomorrow. Sometimes I don't know why we don't hire the lawn service because no one likes to do it in our house! 
So, myLotters, are you lazy zometimes? Are their chores that you hate to do? Would you rather hire someone to do it for you? Thanks for your replies and have a nice day.

Yes, I get lazy sometimes. In fact, I have been lazy for 3 days now, I would just go home then sleep sleep sleep. I think it's about the weather here in our country, one moment it will be sunny then it will rain hard that I would just like to lie down and sleep.

Yes I do that some days too...I just come home and sleep. I know that's bad, too. Are you in the rainy season now? Wow that must be so much fun...

Actually, the weather here is weird. In the morning til 2 in the afternoon, it is very hot... then after that, it will rain very hard so I just kinda get lazy and sleep!

Cool...it sounds to me that you like to mow the lawn then? Well that's good, and I like doing other chores so I'm not sure why I hate mowing the lawn. Grr.

Hi there callarse1!
Yes. I am lazy most of the time, actually. What I dislike doing the most is ironing clothes. When I am cleaning the house, I like it because more often than not, I find things that I have been looking more and sometimes, something that I need that i totally forgot about. I also like doing the laundry because it's so easy. I just put them inside the washing machine then leave and just come back when it's done, then the work is only for hanging the clothes to dry. I also enjoy washing the dishes. I don't like ironing clothes but not much that I would hire someone to do it for me.

I usually don't iron because I put clothes in the dyer, then I hang them up so they don't get wrinkles. Yes, ironing can be annoying sometimes thought.

I am often lazy, but often cheap as well. If there is something I can do myself, I would rather procrastinate and put off getting it done rather than hiring someone else to do it. I will eventually do it, and it might even take a few hours, like hardcore cleaning my room or the rest of the house, but it will get done eventually...

Hehehehe, I never thought of it like that. Well it does get eventually done, but I would perfer to pay someone to do it. It's no problem really...but I guess you're right we should just do it and save our money.

Yes that's what I do...do what a like for a bit, then do the chore...the other chores I don't mind but I don't like mowing the lawn...and guess? We just had a rain strom with a tornado warning so it looks like again we are going to be cutting the lawn...uggg!

I am lazy about other things like washing the dishes, cleaning my room, going to the market and stuff and I too have migrains appear at random times since I was little. I am lazy all the time and I both hate and love it - I love being relaxed with nothing on my mind but I hate seeing my room looking like garbage and the dishes piling up and I feel guilty when someone else does things I had to do...

Well, I'll do the dishes, I'll clean my clothes, I'll clean the house..but I hate mowing the lawn..sometimes I don't like washing the dishes, either. It's nice when you don't have anything to do, but it can be annoying when someone keeps asking you to do something you just don't like doing.

I am lazy sometimes especially when my mom ask me to do a lot of chores in the house,she ask me to this and that without thinking if I can all those stuffs at the same time.So instead of obeying her,I sometimes prefer to lock myself in my room just t get away those husehld chores she wants me to do.

Hehehehe, I used to do that when I was a kid. I would run away or go to my friend's house so I didn't have to do chores.
