I believe that marriage is a spiritual commitment, anyway, and my religion believes it is to be heterosexual. But, in all honesty, no one is hurting me if they are gay and they get married. It doesn't hurt me one bit. If they are breaking God's commandments and doing something sacreligious, then that's between them and God and not me. I don't know why some people have such fear and hatred of homosexuals. Unless they're doing something to me, personally, trying to force me into their lifestyles, or flaunting it in my face, I don't see where they are bothering me. There are always going to be people who are always going to offend people in their religious or moral sense. People aren't going to change their views or feelings just because some stranger thinks they should. If it's something that is against God, He will deal with it.

AMEN!!!!Desertdarlene, I think you said it best. It really does not matter what any of us think because it is GOD that they have to deal with not man or woman...

I think it's great. I just wish the rest of the country would wise up. Again I say, I have a live and let live attitude. They are not hurting anyone. And you can't help who you fall in love with. It's between two consenting adults. Love is love and I feel that they should have the right to get married just like anyone else.

well to tell you the truth friend...i personally feel that the California supreme court has legalised gay marriage which i dont really approve of because it is not to the law of nature. If you see to the other aspect...no govt says that you cannot love each other whether it may be lesbians loving each other or gays loving each other and getting married in these cases would not bring any positive result as there cannot be any kids out of this marriage. So i think that it is of no relevance or cosequence.I feel it that way....

Not a good development. Woman are made for Man and Man are made for woman. Not Man and Man, nor Woman and Woman. Hey why not stay single.....

The California Court has struck down an illegal act by the voters of California. They have resolved a civil issue! The have not stated one way or another a moral issue only a legal issue as it should be. The fact is that the voters of California were wrong as was the current Govenor of California. The Constitutional issues were decided based upon the LAW. Good for them!

I think it's great. There is no way, with the divorce rate as high as it is for heterosexual couples, that we have any right to say that homosexuals can't have that right as well. Seeing as how less than half of heterosexual marriages are successful, I see no reason that homosexual relationships cant exist, and will most likely have a higher rate of success.
