Is indian cricket future is Mahendra Singh Dhoni?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is indian crickets hot sensation isn't it? do you think he can take india to more glory in one day cricket as well as test cricket? According to me, he can be a success in one day format and will be a doubtfull case in test cricket as test cricket demands more in technique which Dhoni doesn't have and he is more of a powerfull hitter and less of technique.All views are welcome here

You got it right by pin pointing about his batting skills as he looks more of a power palyer than technicaly rigth and sound batting isnt it? once he impproves on this he will become greates cricketer for sure and also as captain he will excella s he has al the qualities required for a captain

MS DHONI is not future of INDIA..............he is not a player as SACHIN, SORAV , DRAVID....................he is just a hitter and presently he is in his very good time of life.............when his luck disfavour him then he will not be in TEAM INDIA...........

When playing test cricket, betting skills wil come into palya nd test cricket is totally different ball game than one dya formats and even though dhoni looks a good captain, he looks more of a one day player looking at his batting and he has to improve a lot in batting

He can be good as captaina nd no doubt in that as it is very much visible in his approach to the game and only negative factor in him is batting technique which is absolutely zero compared to anyother cricketers around who is good enough isnt it?

May be he is cool, composed and he plays well and have you seen his batting style closelya nd do you honestly think that his batting technique is the ebst for test cricketa nd he will survive in test cricket for long? test cricket demands lot more than this and maybe dhoni if improves his technique it will be good for him and also for indian cricket

I would like to say what dhoni said in the semifinals in IPL . In the presentation , Dhoni was asked about his Cool expressions even in the tensed situations . He replied that , if a captain face become tensed , then the team members will also feel the Pressure and so that they cant perform well , so only i didnt show any tensed expression . What will you say about this ! He has all the qualities to become the Future of Indian Cricket !!

Definitely i agree with your views as he has showed his wortha s captain and he is a cool captain for sure and hre the big worry is his techinique which is not at all sound and may be it will gte exposed in test cricket in some months if he doesnt inprove on it for sure

Yes Alienstar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the future for Indian cricket. He will also be the steady captain for India. Dhoni is a sensational cricketer. He is the best wicketkeeper for me. He does not put dishonesty just to win a match like alot of wicket keeper doing now. I enjoy watching Dhoni. Even as a batsman he perform for his team instead of a one man band. So Alienstar there are Ganguly, Tendulkar and now India has Dhoni. I wish him all the best in the future.

I also like Dhoni but i feel he has to improve on his technique if he has to survive in test cricket as test is more of technique than anything else and once your weekness is got, it's difficult to overcome that unless you improve your overall technique though one day format he suits more better than this as it is more of attacking strokes and power play which dhoni has....hope he stays in test cricket also
