hey friend If you are referring to english language, then i would have to say it has an enormous impact in improvement of india in last 60 years. English is the language that the world speaks. India is getting up as a power in both economic & political front. Its only the english language that provides an opportunity & gateway to indians for expressing their views,ideas,suggestions & decisions. When the commom man in india speaks english ,we can well imagine the extent to which it is affecting our social life too.
