If dhoni win the ipl he may become the idol but somehow rajastan won and dhoni the highly paid player defeated. I think people atleast treat him as a player in the future.

Dhoni has no techniques to play cricket ?? are you kidding ! He has one of the greatest technique in playing shots ! For example you cant see any player hitting straight four in a Yorker Ball ! no one can play yorkers better than him ! also he is the perfect slogger for our country to play some big shots !and one of the best captain India has seen !!

The t-20 format is unpredictable. You cannot say what will happen. And also the players current form also makes the difference on the game. Dhoni might be the highest paid player..but he got that deal because he was in form and India had just won the T-20 world cup. Losing in the ipl will reduce his price may be. But the final was an awesome match. The hype created by the IPL was maintained. Looking at the close defeat i dont think it will affect dhoni's impression. he has made a mark in T-20. People will surely consider him for the captain's spot.

well every player will make good decision and also bad ones. but it is necessary to judge whether he really has the quality or not. it may happen that some one is lucky for some time and so they won the match and that time every move cliks. but the real test is in pressure situations when things are not going in your way or can go eigther way. those are the testing time for a captain and then he can be judged

I doubt if this will decrease his popularity, it was a very close defeat and he did well and led his team very nicely.
