did germany played decent football?

well i watched the final of euro cu spain vs germany only in the 2nd half when spain was leading 1-0. and in the 2nd half i thought germany didnt play decent football. there were more fouls than normal, they were arguing for petty reasons; obviously it was the final and there was tremendous pressure on both the teams especially on germany when it was a goal down, but still was this expected from such a high profile team???
