What do you know about Islam ?

AsSalamu Alaikum Harley009, My husband loves bikes too. Yes I have been Muslim about 6 or 7 years now. For a few years I study the history of religion beginning with Judaism, than Christianity, than Islam. I could not believe in Judaism, because they did not believe in Jesus(pbuh). My family is Christian, and I knew the many un truths that I had been taught. My husband, whom I met in high school at age 15 studied a little about Islam with some Muslim friends of his. He had a Quran that was given to him, so I began to read it. About four years later I decided to visit the Masjid for the first time, take an Arabic class, learn to make Salah, and two years later I took my Shahada. I thought that just saying ok Im Muslim was enough, but as I began to study, I learned that I needed to take Shahada, so I did. Alhumdulilah. I knew Islam was the truth by reading Quran. It confirmed things all ready written in the bible, and did not disregard them, and made clear those things that were not clear. So these mylot members. Where they Muslim all ready, or after talking to others on mylot about Islam?

I knew about some people embraced Islam from MyLot,it was not because of MyLot discussion I guess hehe. But I can name some of them, it may help you as well: unpinoy,juliocstryfe,michele609, hubby of misty99, Bee1955 and you. I have seen two more people here but I don't remember their names. What is radical about Islam ? There are radical people in every religion, but that is not the religion itself, those are ignorant people.
