trouble with paypal

I am trying to add my bank account to my paypal. My am with century bank and the routing number is 8 digits and when I try to add it to paypal it says it must be 9 digits. has anyone else had this problem? And i called customer service and it was someone from asia who could not speak any english!!!!! This is so frustrating so thanks if you can help

Hello! I don't really know what it is like in your country with the numbers etc, but in Sweden sometimes the account numbers etc are shorter then the suggested number and then we only have to put in a zero to make it the right length. So that if the number is supposed to be six digit but your number is "12345" you write "012345" with the zero in front to fill the gap. The number is the same but the digits are right! Maybe you can try that, just to see it works, I guess it won't be any harm in trying and if it works it is a really easy solution!
