myspace is getting boring

I've been on Myspace for a couple of years myself, and I have some really great friends there. But most of them are my "real life" friends that I have met face to face. I haven't been on there a whole lot. It takes some alert showing up in my email before I remember to log in and check things out. Same with Facebook..which I absolutely love. I just forget to log in. Pathetic isn't it?

When I first got an account I went on it almost everyday. I would chat with my friends and change my layout all of that good stuff. I hardly ever go on there anymore. Whenever I do go on there it is just to keep up with my friends that have moved away, one is in Florida and it is hard to talk to her so myspace helps with that. Other than that I don't really go to it anymore, I don't even have a layout anymore. I think my actual page has nothing on it. I just email her and occasionally will email some other friends on there. Yeah, my friend who was almost on it all of the time and emailed me a lot is hardly ever on it anymore. I don't see any of them on it hardly at all.

I've never really been an active member, but ever since Rupert Murdoch bought it, I think it's been going down hill. It's become just another over commercialised internet site.

I do have myspace account but I only use it for friend's purpose... Every so often, a friend would send me a message through it... Now & then, if I don't talk to one particular friend for a while, I'd check on his or her page to see what's new with the person... I really don't get into it much...

´Never really was an addicted member to myspace, i only started it when i went to mexico and had no communication with my friends so i started it out originally for that reason. I really just use it to catch up with old friends and keep them and family members updated. Other than that i just log in check my mess, comments and log out bc it is too much drama and boring.. people just ask the same questions and things tend to start up from comments that people leave me and its rather more annoying than anything for people to judge you completely from your profile.

I have never been a big myspace fan, deleting myspace and facebook would be so simple because they offer me nothing. And stalkers and spammers are all over myspace, yuwie has 'an atmosphere', forget about making money, that would be a bonus. Here on mylot it just isn't as friendly, well not yet, and people talk garbage to make more cash, and why wouldn't they? You, being my bestest online friend ever, are something special, but trusting others can be difficult. Myspace is full of fools, facebook and youtube is full of wannabes, on yuwie you can flirt, listen to your music or yuwie radio, and meet people from different walks of life who are genuine. Myspace started like that, sad that people have spoilt it..

I tried myspace and hated it. I found the chat rooms to just be filled with little teens trying to act cool or else swear and talk inappropriately. there were very few on topic conversations. I perhaps didn't give it the benefit of the doubt and put in a lot of time but I am adult and maybe 1 time did I every see anything which would really affect my life on the front page. It was like looking at 17 Magazine or something like that. I am sure it has its place and kids seem to like it but I really have no use for it at all.

I personally use Myspace only to contact my friends, or to promote something. I'm pretty sick of it because they want to ban me from everything...for example, I added a video of me and my friends at a party, and had it up there for 2 years. All of a sudden, I get a notice that I am violating copyright laws because there was a song playing the background and the artist of the song reported me! I didn't know that was copyright infringement? Also, there link thing is really getting on my nerves. Every time you put a link, they change the link to their redirect and it's annoying to have to go through another page to get to the page you want. They also don't let me put any widgets other than my Project Playlist on my page any longer, or in bulletins. Granted, I know it's for spamming purposes, but it's still frustrating. On the same note, when will they get better servers? I'm tired of seeing "We're updating blah blah blah" or "Sorry! Please try your request again!" All in all, I think it sucks.

maybe you are right, but some aplications have been appearing to having fun as mobsters My last 2 girlfriends I knew them from myspace I think that if you have friends enjoy using myspace, then myspace, facebook or any social network is funny
