Particular songs for a special person!

Do you associate a particular song to a special person? Yes I do, whenever I am listening to my selected music on imeem, it crosses to my mind that this song reminds me of somebody. Just like "Love Story", it reminds me of my dead mother. We watch this movie together. So I really feel sad. Then another song reminds me of a special person who I haven't seen for 15 years and long to see or talked to. But also feel sad because of the improbabilities. Also a song where my friends and I like so much. This friends of mine I haven't also seen for quite sometime. Feeling nostalgic whenever I listen to the music I associate with. What about you?

i have a lot of songs which i associate with different people. if you know the song "laklak" and "lakas-tama", i associate them with a friend back in college, a girl friend. whenever i hear the song, i'm always reminded of her. it brings back memories of our practicum days when during our acquaintance party, our gang were the only ones left and there, we sang our hearts out singing those two songs which are supposed to be sang by boys. 
and then, the song aubrey reminds me of my first puppy love. it will be forever embedded in my heart because it was our JS prom that i answered "yes" to him and we danced to the song of "aubrey". i loved that song then. ^__~ i also associate with him the song "i remember the boy, but i don't remember the feeling anymore.." simply because of the song's meaning. ^__^;; and then, the song "i won't last a day without you", i associate it with my good friends back in high school. we shared a lot of good times and bad times and we all agreed that this song will be our theme song. until now, we treat it as our theme song. ^__^
and then the song "you're a god" by vertical horizon. i associate it with my last bf. he treated me as "the one", his light during his dark days, the one who believed in him when everyone in his family treated him as the black sheep. and he thought the song was an appropriate dedication for me from him. *sigh* those were the days of "you and me against the world". LOL
now, i have a lot of songs which i dedicate with a single guy. ugh. "migraine" by moonstar88", "torn" and "perfectly" by natalie imbruglia and a lot other songs which are songs for brokenhearted and unrequited love. LOL i also associate with him the song "september" by earth, wind and fire because he was singing that when a common friend made us held hands and someone took our picture.

Hi secretbear! I will certainly add you in my imeem. Songs really can make us remember old friends, lost love, and special moments that make our life wonderful and tearful. But such songs is of course music to our ears.... a lullaby to a tired soul.

yeah, i will associated different songs with different ple in my life.. And those ple are the ones whom have make an impact in my life and thus those songs are special to me and i will remember them whenever that particular song is being played ^_^

Well I have for certain persons, well for my girlfriend it's Finally find someone by Barbara Streisand and Bryan Adams. Also I don't want to miss a thing is one of my songs for her. Those songs actually reminds me on how we started and how much I love her right now.
